Elektrodistribution North AD (EDN) holds a license for the activity of distribution of electric energy. The company transmits electricity through the electricity distribution network for the purpose of supplying end customers, both in the regulated market and in the electricity market at freely negotiated prices.
The licensed territory of Elektrorazpradelenie Sever AD is nearly 30,000 square kilometers and covers 9 administrative districts in North-Eastern Bulgaria - Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Dobrich, Razgrad, Ruse, Silistra, Targovishte and Shumen. The company manages and maintains an electricity distribution network with a total length of nearly 44 thousand km and 26 substations. On the license territory of Elektrorazpradelenie Sever AD, 5 distribution service centers (DSC) are designated: DSC Varna, DSC Shumen and Targovishte, DSC Ruse and Razgrad, DSC Gorna Oryahovitsa and Gabrovo, DSC Silistra and Dobrich.
